BFL/Nylon

Bluefaced Leicester sheep are native to the UK. The fibre has a micron count of around 26 and is strong, silky, and lustrous. It’s fine enough to wear next to the skin and durable enough to wear well. The yarn has a soft, natural lustre and is a favourite of hand dyers due to the intensity of colour once dyed.

Merino Singles

This yarn is beautifully soft and can be used for all your projects where durability is not key. The 19.5 micron Merino is super soft for luxury and can be used for projects worn next to the skin.

100% merino single ply, 100g Skein, 366m per 100g

Merino/Mohair Singles

This singles yarn is next to skin soft, slightly fuzzy and has a beautiful sheen due to the fineness of the mohair used. The mohair is not brushed but the singles construction allows the mohair fibres to bloom and form a delicate halo around the strand. It knits up into warm and lightweight items. Although technically a fingering weight yarn, you can also treat it like a thicker sport weight yarn, and knit on larger needles. This allows the mohair fibres more room to bloom and reach their full fuzzy potential. It is delightful worked up into lightweight shawls, cardigans, hats and cowls.

This is a gorgeously soft and warm yarn with a lustre and depth of colour provided by the silk and yak fibres.
