Unwrap the unexpected this season with a curated collection of hand-dyed yarns inspired by the depth, drama, and quiet beauty of the gothic aesthetic.
This limited-edition calendar features 24 mini skeins, or 4 full skeins, each revealing a new shade in a modern, moody spectrum. Think softened jewel tones, smoky neutrals, and quiet pops of intensity — a slow-burn reimagined through a darker lens.
Designed for makers who love subtlety with an edge, Gothic Advent 2025 is an invitation to explore rich texture, shadowed colour, and elegant contrast — one skein at a time.
You can choose from 4x100g skeins to open weekly or 24x20g mini skeins in new colours. Some will be semi-solid colours, some variegated that can be used individually or as part of a complementary themed set.
There’s an option to add a full skein (matching your primary yarn choice) to open on December 25th, and this will be created to capture the essence of one or more of the mood boards from the images in the listing, and will complement the other yarns in your Advent.
Packaged in a luxury gift box, each skein will be individually wrapped and numbered ready for you to open during December. Along with your yarn, there will be a couple of carefully curated extras.
You can also choose a bespoke drawstring project bag, made by Maria from @Dollsdesignsuk in an exclusive themed fabric to complete your advent calendar. Please note - there is a separate listing for the project bag, which you can purchase here.
You can choose to pay in full or in 3 instalments. If you choose to pay by instalments, a 50% deposit will be taken with your order, and the balance will be spread across 2 further payments due in June and August. Please provide an accurate email address so I can invoice you over the summer for the remaining amounts. Payments should be completed by the end of September. Any unpaid amounts will result in boxes not being sent. Postage will be added with your initial order.
Numbers are strictly limited, so please be sure to place your order as early as possible.
